The Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility) has been Awarded the ISO Certification in Road Traffic Safety Management

Abu Dhabi on Thursday, February 13, 2025 – In its continuous efforts to enhance road traffic safety across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and its commitment to delivering services that meet international standards, the Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility), an affiliate of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, has announced its attainment of the ISO 39001:2012 certification in Road Traffic Safety (RTS) Management. This achievement highlights Abu Dhabi Mobility's pivotal role in fostering a safe and sustainable traffic environment, aligning with the emirate's objectives to promote safety and innovation in the transportation sector.

This certification reflects Abu Dhabi Mobility's dedication to adopting globally recognised best practices and standards in the field of road traffic safety. It underscores its firm commitment to implementing effective measures to reduce road accidents and injuries, aiming to establish a safe transportation system. Achieving this certification highlights the presence of a comprehensive planning mechanism, the implementation of well-structured programs and strategies, continuous improvement and development efforts, and adherence to the highest standards of best practices.

Engineer Abdullah Hamad Al Aryani, Acting Executive Director of the Planning and Strategic Affairs Sector, stated: "This achievement is the result of the dedicated efforts and systematic planning of our teams, who continuously work to enhance traffic safety mechanisms by adopting advanced technologies in transportation systems.
