Abu Dhabi on Monday, 14 September 2026 – The Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility), an affiliate of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, is participating in Arabian Travel Market 2026, taking place from 14 to 17 September 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre, as part of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi pavilion.

During the event, the Centre is showcasing an integrated ecosystem of smart mobility services and innovative digital solutions that enhance the experience of visitors and tourists while supporting Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading global destination.

Arabian Travel Market is one of the leading international events specialising in the travel and tourism sector. It serves as a platform that brings together industry stakeholders and decision-makers to showcase services, experiences and solutions that support the tourism industry, while exploring the future of travel and ways to enhance the visitor experience.

The Centre is showcasing the Abu Dhabi Taxi and Zayed International Airport Taxi services, which provide safe and reliable mobility options across the Emirate, facilitate travel to and from the airport, and connect passengers and visitors to destinations throughout Abu Dhabi.

The Centre is also highlighting its smart booking ecosystem, which enables users to access taxi services with ease while enhancing fleet operational efficiency through multiple digital booking channels. These include the Abu Dhabi Taxi application and a number of approved smart booking applications.

In addition, the Centre is showcasing electronic payment methods available in taxis, including electronic payment terminals, QR code payments, and other digital payment solutions, providing users with convenient and flexible payment options.

The services on display reflect the continued development of the Emirate’s taxi sector. The fleet comprises more than 6,147 vehicles, approximately 99% of which are low-emission vehicles, including hybrid and electric vehicles. In 2025, the number of passengers exceeded 60 million, while smart bookings accounted for 18% of total bookings. The same year also recorded more than 38.53 million electronic payment transactions.

The Centre is also showcasing public transport services across the Emirate, including the public bus network, which connects various areas and tourist destinations. The network recorded more than 112 million passenger trips in 2025, operating across 174 routes with a fleet of more than 800 buses.

These services are complemented by Abu Dhabi Link, Abu Dhabi Express, and the Bus Rapid Transit system, which further enhance seamless mobility and support the integration of Abu Dhabi’s transport network.

These services support the visitor journey from arrival in Abu Dhabi through travel across the Emirate’s cultural, tourism and entertainment destinations, contributing to an enhanced visitor experience and higher levels of customer satisfaction.

This participation reflects the Integrated Transport Centre’s ongoing efforts to support Abu Dhabi’s vision of developing a smart and sustainable mobility ecosystem, delivering a world-class experience for residents and visitors while enhancing the Emirate’s global competitiveness.
