Director General’s Statement on the Occasion of Emirati Women’s Day Dr Abdulla Hamad AlGhfeli, Acting Director General of the Integrated Transport Centre, said: “On Emirati Women’s Day, we celebrate the journey of dedication and achievement embodied by Emirati women, and the inspiring example they represent in leadership and participation in the nation’s development. This occasion reaffirms the esteemed position attained by Emirati women. Having not stopped at achievement, they continue to look toward the future with ambition and responsibility, within an integrated ecosystem that contributes to building the present and shaping the future. The accomplishments of Emirati women today are the result of the wise vision of our leadership, and the continuous support and noble guidance of Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Mother of the Nation, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), who laid the foundations for women’s empowerment and made women a fundamental pillar in the nation’s development journey. At the Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility), we take pride in the pivotal contributions of national female talents to the development of the smart and sustainable mobility sector, and in their qualitative contributions that enhance quality of life and support sustainability in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. We reaffirm our commitment to continuing to support the presence and role of Emirati women in building the future of the nation.” This year’s celebration is held under the theme “Together, We Rise Stronger and Better,” and extends across a national month of activities from 28 August to 28 September 2026, affirming that the success of Emirati women is part of an integrated national ecosystem.
