The Integrated Transport Centre Announces
its Services Schedule during Ramadan 1445 Hijri (2024)
The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) in Abu Dhabi announced the working hours of its Customer’s Happiness Centres, as well as the timings of MAWAQiF paid parking service, Darb Toll Gate System, and public buses schedule during the holy month of Ramadan 1445 Hijri (2024).
Customer’s Happiness Centres
The ITC Customer’s Happiness Centres at the headquarters of Abu Dhabi City Municipality and headquarters of Al Ain City Municipality will be operating from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and on Friday from 9:00 AM to 12 PM.
Customers may continue to apply for ITC’s services on its digital platforms through its website www.itc.gov.ae, TAMM platform, the Darb and Darbi smart apps. Additionally, customers may contact the unified Service Support Centre of the Department of Municipalities and Transport on its toll-free number 800850 and Taxi call centre 600535353, which are available 24/7.
MAWAQiF Service
MAWAQiF surface parking fees will be applied during Ramadan according to the current timing from Monday to Saturday, from 8 AM to 12 midnight, and will be free of charge on Sundays.
In this regard, the ITC called on drivers to avoid parking in prohibited areas and blocking traffic movement. It also urged drivers to park properly in the designated areas and to avoid parking in residential parking spaces from 9:00 PM until 8:00 AM.
Darb Toll Gate System
The peak hours in Ramadan subject to Darb toll gate system are modified to be from 08:00 to 10:00 in the morning, and from 02:00 to 04:00 in the evening from Monday to Saturday and will be free of charge on Sundays. The timing adjustment aims to ensure smooth traffic flow during increased traffic period in Ramadan.
Public Buses Services
In Abu Dhabi City and its suburbs during Ramadan, the public bus services will be available every day of the week from 6:00 AM to 12:00 midnight, and the non-stop bus service (24hr) will continue to operate according to regular schedule.
In Al Ain city and its suburbs during Ramadan, public buses will operate from 06:00 AM to 12:00 midnight. The frequency of services in Al Ain suburbs will remain unchanged, with a slight modification to the frequency of some local services in Al Ain city.
As for Al Dhafrah during Ramadan, the public bus services will continue to operate at the regular timings with minimal changes. Buses will not operate during Iftar time.
Abu Dhabi Express services will operate from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM from Monday to Friday and from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM during weekends.
As for the on-demand bus service, the service shall be operational as usual from 06:00 AM to 11:00 PM on throughout the week.
The Automated Rapid Transport system (ART) will operate from Wednesday to Sunday, at an hourly frequency, according to the following schedule:
